Passivation is a chemical treatment for stainless steel intended to remove free iron contamination and support its protective surface. It is a different process from applying a zinc or decorative metal coating.

What to send for a quote
Provide the stainless alloy, part condition, quantity and any required testing or certification. If your drawing references ASTM A967 or AMS 2700, include the exact requirements so we can confirm whether the job can be supported.
